The Airport Goes Martial: Kempo Fest

Kempo Fest, a sport demonstration of European and world champions in kempo, was held at Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport. The event is the second of its kind after the judo demonstration that took the passengers by surprise earlier this year, with the Olympic champion Alina Dumitru, as part of the "CNAB, a value promoter" program.

Performance is the target set for all the actions of our company. Performance can also be identified in promoting sports activities. Thus, a partnership of Bucharest Airports National Company with the Romanian Kempo Federation inspired a demonstration held by Romanian Kempo champions on May 27, 2014. The message for the passengers and employees is that practicing non aggressive martial arts keeps you fit and gives you discipline. Therefore, the sports events organized by CNAB are meant to state that physical discipline educates and trains the spirit, for we all need a healthy mind, passengers and employees.
