ACI Europe Airport Carbon Accreditation

Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport, the first airport in Romania certified in ACI Europe Airport Carbon Accreditation program maintains its certification for another year


Bucharest Airports National Company (CNAB) maintains its certification in ACI Europe Airport Carbon Accreditation program for Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport (AIHCB), following a special audit conducted by international experts.

AIHCB is the first airport in Romania to receive this certification, the first level - "Mapping" thus joining the top 90 airports in the world that meet the international criteria for being accredited in the domain of carbon emissions analysis and reduce.

Airport Carbon Accreditation is one of the most important programs of ACI Europe, being managed by an independent structure whose members are representatives of the European Commission, United Nations Environment Program, the International Civil Aviation Organization, the European Civil Aviation Conference, and the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation.
