The first step to ˝city airport˝

November the 11th - December the 20th. What is 40 days comparing to a hundred years of aviation history of the place? Almost nothing! And still, that’s how long it took to change the C building of Baneasa airport into a general aviation terminal, dedicated to the business segment. There were nights and days of work against the clock of a very ambitious team who lived in 40 days like others in 40 years.

The fitting works kept the historical essence of the airport, offering at the same time the chance of living the “history” in harmony with the most modern standards in aviation, applied to a city airport like those in other European capitals. The greatest challenge of the project was to  keep the architectural characteristics of this historical A class monument and on the other hand, to integrate the specific facilities of an elite terminal, capable to satisfy the sophisticated tastes of general aviation connoisseurs.
