A celebration of the European calling of Romania

Today, when Europeanism is challenged in Romania, it was necessary, perhaps more than ever, to celebrate Europe Day festively. We thus organized, in partnership with "Madrigal - Marin Constantin" National Chamber Choir, a short concert held at "Henri Coandă" International Airport by "Altfel" children's choir; it is one of the over 1,800 choirs united under the umbrella of Cantus Mundi National Program, a visionary concept of social integration through choral singing, meant for children and young people in Romania. Held under the title "Ode to Joy", the official anthem of the European Union, the event on May 9 celebrated the values shared by all the member states of the European Union and, on the other hand, the very youth of the talented artists generated optimism and confidence in Romania's European path, as a defining element of national identity and a promise for the future.
